Since March 2001, Mr. Ignacio García-Ribas is a Clinical Research Oncologist in the Medical Department at Eli Lilly and Company. Spanish Affiliate. He is in charge of the development and follow up of clinical trials in gastrointestinal,pancreas, bladder cancer and lymphoma. Prior to this, he was consultant in Medical Oncology. “Arquitecto Marcide” Hospital. Ferrol. La Coruna. Spain. He obtained his PhD in Medicine with honours. Thesis title: “Development of molecular tools for ovarian cancer gene therapy”. Medical School. Universidad Autónoma, Madrid. Funded with a grant of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO). (May 1995-May 1998). Clinical Research Fellow in PhD training.
